Wonderful World News - Day 92 - Healing Collective Trauma book and video

   Here's today's wonderful news

about a wonderful world!

This is part of a series of daily reminders that a more wonderful world is being built from the actions of millions of people, each day. You are offered examples to explore whenever you would like to be uplifted and inspired, energized and reassured. This is a wonderful type of world news!

It seems obvious that we experience what we are paying attention to, so if we want more life-enhancing experiences, we should direct more of our attention to more life-enhancing news, happenings, and stories.

Also, when we feel life-enhanced, we are radiating, broadcasting those "vibes" outward, and others are uplifted into resonance, to some degree. And the more of us radiating, the more others are uplifted. So joy is service!

In this series, we emphasize discovering whole groups of people who are creating a more wonderful world, each in their own way.

You can add things you find, for others to discover and pay attention to, via commenting on this post, or any post in the series. This book is by someone who might be the world's foremost expert on healing of collective trauma, the spiritual teacher Thomas Hübl. Day 17 was about the telesummit he organized on this topic. He has worked for years with groups all over the world, constantly evolving the work to be more effective. He teaches others how to do it, also.

In my view, the vast interest in this work is one of the most hopeful signs for the future.

"We have seen in 2020:

  • Unprecedented levels of participation in the Collective Trauma Online Summit with more than 108.000 participants from around the world (four videos are still online!)
  • The initiation of our Trauma Prevention Calls with a series of 147 freely accessible Corona Aid Calls for healthcare workers and others struggling with severe stress and isolation
  • The launch of our Scholarship Project, which invited representatives of minorities and the Global South to enter our field more fully. We were able to offer 161 Summit Packages and 73 places for the Principles of Collective Healing Training
  • The launch of 23 International Labs, each exploring the expression and possibilities for restoration of specific thematic or localised fields of collective trauma and led by 42 Pocket Project facilitators and 48 trainees, offering 771 spaces to 692 individuals
  • The publication of Thomas Hübl’s book Healing Collective Trauma: A Process for Integrating Our Intergenerational and Cultural Wounds. Watch the book launch event recording here

"There are many more ways in which we long to contribute by:

  • Launching our new website, beautifully designed by world-renowned artist Yehudit Sasportas
  • Offering regular Community Calls and Global Aid Calls for anyone struggling with stress or isolation, or simply wishing to increase their collective competence
  • Hosting a Global Social Witnessing campaign with newsfeeds and regular calls to cultivate global social responsibility
  • Continuing to learn from the work in the labs and expanding the numbers in a next cycle of collective trauma exploration and integration
  • Setting up a series of Competence Centres that explore the application of acquired knowledge to areas such as Climate Change, Gender, Racialised Trauma and Restorative Justice
  • Strengthen our structures as a global non profit and apply for consultative status at the UN
  • And, off course, by continuing to spread our Scholarship Programme and increasing the numbers of those involved as facilitators, trainees and participants on every level - cultivating a Home for Humanity!

We are all being called to address the roots of the challenges we see in the world. Together, we can unfold our potential and become better equipped to co-create our future.

Now it's your turn. Inspired by what you've discovered, what is one thing you will do this day to make the world more wonderful for yourself and perhaps also for someone else?

Right now there is no good way to get notified of new posts in this series. Do sign up as a Follower, though, and I can make sure you are told when such a good way exists.
