A number of thoughts will have me reading it again. Very much worth my time.
Thank you.
Laura Sullivan
HairHarmonics.comLaura @ Hair Harmonicshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04070856748619595113noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6106224403702847759.post-70527666461764024992018-03-31T14:44:18.742-07:002018-03-31T14:44:18.742-07:00Oh thank you for your comment Becca. But when that feeling of full-out expression awakens us, we can't go back (thankfully). It's like the color has been turned on (a la Pleasantville movie). It can feel so strange to see the "same things" but with this whole new perspective, from expansion. But in my experience I'm connecting with the Divine differently. I've been able to bring the Divine closer to me (when all I long I thought I needed the Divine to bring ME closer...). Could be different for different folks!
Wonderful that you called on Mother and she responded! Wow, nothing on my trip was comparable to YOUR situation!!!
Love,
Alia"Amplifying Divine Light in All" Churchhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14879359445645380055noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6106224403702847759.post-83133617285726604232013-04-02T15:13:29.386-07:002013-04-02T15:13:29.386-07:00This piece arrives for me at a time when I can app...This piece arrives for me at a time when I can apply recent intense experiences to your perspectives on this. Certainly, the aspects you note - feeling safe, feeling empowered, having access to relevant resources and familiarity with your environment all ring true for me. My family is learning an agricultural practice known as a controlled burn.

Yesterday, the conditions were such that our controlled burn got out of control. I did not "feel safe", I felt totally overwhelmed by the needs of that moment, and inadequate to address them.

It sounds to me as though this particular trip did knock you personally off-center, in a very profound way. The contrast of experiencing those differences are incredibly useful going forward.

I noticed that last night, I was crabbier than usual. So tired, I could hardly drag my body around; but I don't think I was un-grounded by it, as I was fully noticing the sensations of having had so much physical exertion and what that felt like in my body. Not as suffering; but as in really noticing it.

I resonate deeply with images of "dancing with the challenges, resources showing up when needed", and finding that I could call on my "mother" to do what Nature is able to do in assistance, and she did respond.

The advantages of being grounded ? Knowing that you are enough, that you are sufficient to whatever circumstances you find yourself in. Interestingly, my family recently traveled for 6 weeks. We do well in a fluid, ever changing environment.
Traveling works well for bringing us closer together.
